Blade Signs

A blade sign hangs perpendicular to your facade, so it reads to people walking toward you — the one sign format a flat wall sign cannot replace.

Why Shops Add a Blade Sign

A flat sign on a facade is only readable from the front. Pedestrians, however, approach along the sidewalk — parallel to your wall — which is exactly the angle a flat sign fails at. A blade sign projects out from the building on a bracket, double-faced, so your name and logo read from both walking directions. On streets with projecting-sign traditions — cafes, boutiques, salons, bars — it is often the first element of the shop a passer-by actually sees.

The blade format on this site is a fabricated LED light box: a shaped cabinet — square, round, oval or a custom outline — with illuminated faces on both sides and a wall bracket in black-finished metal. The face graphics are yours: logo, name, or a single strong icon.

Construction, From the Product Listing

The listed blade light box uses an aluminum-style shaped cabinet with formed (blister) acrylic faces, internal LED illumination and a transformer rated at 12V output with 110–240V input, so the same sign runs on mains power in most markets. The listing carries a 2-year warranty. Customization covers shape, size, colors and face graphics, and the bracket mounts to brick, concrete or a framed facade with standard fixings.

Because the faces are formed acrylic, the sign glows as a soft even panel rather than a set of visible points — the right look for logos and wordmarks. For a logo that must glow as lines rather than a panel, pair the blade with a neon logo sign inside the window; the two formats divide the work between street and interior.

Ordering Notes

Send the logo file, the shape you want, and a photo of the facade with the mounting position marked. Many districts regulate projecting signs — size, projection distance and height above the sidewalk — so confirm your local rules before fixing the dimensions; we will size the cabinet to the rules you give us.

Questions Buyers Ask

Do projecting signs need permission?

Often, yes — many cities regulate size and projection over public sidewalks. Check your local rules and send us the limits; we will build within them.

Can the blade show different graphics on each side?

Yes. Each face is produced separately, so the two sides can carry the same logo or two different messages.

Can I order just one custom sign?

Yes. OEM custom neon orders start from a single piece, so a one-off sign for a shop, an event or a bedroom wall is a normal order, not an exception.

How long will the sign last?

The product pages state a service life of up to 50,000 hours for the LED flex tube. Actual life depends on daily running hours, dimmer settings and installation environment.
